The clearest example is the one specified in the Biblewhen the great deluge is addressed, a fantastic fact detailing the history of noah and his journey in Ark to save the largest number of animals and thus establish a new dawn for humanity.
“On the same day all the fountains of the great deep were broken, and the waterfalls of the heavens were opened, and there was rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights”, recounts the book of Genesis 7:11-24.
But what is a storm, according to the meteorological definition, this concept is used to show strong winds and heavy rains that occur in an area of the planet. In modern times there are records of two storms that caused thousands of deaths and below we detail what happened.

It is known as a flood because the rainfall formed the so-called Zuiderzee either South Sea. Previously there was a freshwater bank in the area, which was connected to the North Sea; However, with the recorded rains and flooding, the barrier of sand dunes that existed was eliminated, generating the Zuiderzee.
