Following the success of the Uncharted movie, PlayStation Studios will continue to be excited about their plans to turn more video games into film adaptations. One of the projects that the company has in mind is to the ghost of tsushima movie, the latest hit from Sucker Punch that was adapted to PS5 while its sequel is in development. An example of the progress in the production of the film is that this has found its screenwriter in Takashi Doscheraccording to the portal dead line.
There are not many details of the Ghost of Tsushima movie. The film adaptation of the samurai game will be directed by Chad Stahelsky, best known for the John Wick movies. In December 2021, the director mentioned on the red carpet of The Matrix: Resurrections premiere that the production team behind the PlayStation film would be focused on “getting it right”.
Takashi Doscher, who has already confirmed his participation in the Ghost of Tsushima film as a screenwriter, has directed films such as Only and Hear Us. Despite this, Doscher explains that this work has become “highlight of my career“, or at least that’s how it feelsas he’s been a longtime PlayStation gamer, skipping class even to queue up and buy a PS2 on launch day.
I grew up watching “chambara” re-runs with my grandparents. I skipped school to line up for the PS2 on launch day. To say this is the highlight of my career is an understatement. Honored and humbled. Arigato-gozaimasu! 🇯🇵🏯🎮 https://t.co/85AbotETuS

Ghost of Tsushima will become the second film to emerge from the collaboration between Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions. For its part, developer Sucker Punch will be heavily involved with the film and will serve as executive producer. Of course, the game exceeded all sales expectations.
