The Geneva Motor Show returns in 2023
It was in 2019 when the last edition of the Geneva Motor Show was held. In 2020, the event had to be cancelled, with only a few days left to open its doors, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The organization was forced to make the same decision in 2021. At that time, the continuity of the show was even questioned for economic reasons and all the accelerated changes that the industry was experiencing.
The return was set for this 2022, however, again the health situation due to the pandemic, added to all the problems that the automobile sector has been dragging due to the stock crisis in dealerships, made it impossible to celebrate. At that time, the statement issued made it clear that we were not facing a cancellation. The event had been directly postponed until 2023. Now there is an official date for it.
It’s been quite a while since the Geneva Motor Show has been held at the beginning of March. For his return, the organization has decided to bring him forward by about a month. There isn’t much more information about it. Despite this, we can anticipate that sustainable mobility, connectivity and autonomous driving will play a leading role at the 2023 Geneva Motor Show.
