The Mediaset group has reached an agreement with Movistar Plus+, owner of the broadcasting rights for the entire competition, to offer both the race that will take place on Sunday, May 22, and the qualifying day on Saturday, May 21.
The audiovisual group Mediaset, owner, among others, of the private channels TeleCinco and Cuatro, has confirmed that it has signed an agreement with Movistar for the assignment of the broadcasting rights of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix 2022.
Specifically, TeleCinco will broadcast the qualifying sessions and the race which will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in the Barcelona municipality of Montmeló, on the weekend of Sunday, May 22.
The broadcasts on Mediaset España will include the narration of Gonzalo Serrano and the comments of the motor journalist Iván Vicario and the ex-pilot Jaime Alguersuari. Matías Prats Chacón will travel to the circuit to inform on-site of everything that is happening in the competition.
