The end of the world is a subject of constant analysis among scientists. Through studies and investigations, both of our behavior as a race, and of events that occur in the universe, experts calculate when an event of destruction of the Earth or extinction of humanity.
Studies on this phenomenon are not new. In fact, they go back to analyzes of ancient civilizations that inhabited our planet, since it appears in prophecies of the Bible or in the writings of the Mayan calendar, just to name two of the most famous.
The one we bring in this review is from this era, but from many decades ago. In 1960, an investigation by scientists from Harvard University, it was possible to calculate the end of the world with everything and the exact date of our end: it is much sooner than anyone could imagine.
This investigation that the portal echoes Free Press, published by Science magazine, included iconic experts such as physicist Heinz von Foerster, Patricia M. Mora and Lawrence Amiot, from Argonne National Laboratory. According to their equations, the end of the world will happen on November 13, 2026, due to the accelerated population increase.
At least we will experience another Soccer World Cup, but unfortunately, if this hypothesis is true, we will not be able to see everything we need to enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s hope that Toei Animation decides to quickly release the continuation of the Dragon Ball Super anime.
“Our great-great-grandchildren will not starve, but they will be squeezed to death. On this date the human population will approach infinity if it grows as it has grown in the last two millennia,” said the aforementioned experts, in their report from the 1960s.
It is based on population growth and the advancement of technology, which at that time was nothing compared to today.
