Apple has just released the eighth beta version of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. These versions arrive within the usual cycle of updates and we do not expect great news from them. In the case of an eighth beta version, we estimate that there will be rather few news and quite a few performance improvements and bug fixes.
The prelude to the RC?
After a little over two months testing the betas of the new operating systems, we can affirm that these are, without a doubt, the most stable betas we’ve seen to date. A big change in stability was really seen with the iOS 14 beta, but iOS 15 goes one step further. That said, we must not lose sight of the fact that it is a beta. There are some glitches especially in the interface of iOS and iPadOS while in certain circumstances the devices get hotter than they should.
Are many new arrivals with these operating systems. From SharePlay, which takes the FaceTime call experience much further, to iPad home screen widgets or iCloud + Private Relay, there are plenty of features to test and polish.
If we want to enter the beta cycle we can do it by following these steps, but it is necessary to bear in mind that we are talking about development versions containing bugs.
Already within the beta cycle, we will find the update in the app Settings as an OTA update. During the first hours, Apple servers can receive more demand than usual, so the waiting time can be lengthened. In Applesfera we are already updating our devices and we will update the article if news appears.
