In addition to continuing to be a style reference years after the series ended, Monica Geller continues to give us moments, or at least Courteney Cox does it in the style of the Friends character.
On her Instagram account, the actress teaches us some easy recipes like the one we bring you today, aglio e olio, a very easy classic spaghetti recipe to do that we can replicate at home in the style of Monica in Friends.
Boil the water for the spaghetti with a good handful of salt and cook the pasta in it when it boils for the time indicated by the pasta brand. If you want to use gluten-free pasta like Courney Cox, choose a good brand.
Cut the garlic into small pieces (not too much so that it does not burn in the oil) and chop the bunch of parsley that you have washed and dried with kitchen paper. Pour a good splash of olive oil in a large frying pan and add the garlic, a little ground pepper to taste and salt.
Now add a cube of chicken broth to the garlic and between two and three cups of the water used to cook the pasta and mix well. The chef trick comes right at the end. Cox takes the pasta out a minute before it’s ready so it finishes cooking in the pan.
At that moment add the chopped parsley and mixand if you like it spicy, you can add some chili flakes or some spicy salt flakes.
We mix well and our touch, a good handful of grated Parmesan. Great, word from chef Mónica Geller.
