It is always a privilege to be a health professional, although extensive training is required to achieve this. There are also some values that people must have before entering university in order to offer quality service to patients. It is not easy because of all the responsibility that it implies and there are also many risks that must be faced. In particular, a vocation for service and a lot of empathy are needed. That is why today there is mourning in world health due to the loss of a doctor who was an example for the entire guild.
The doctor who said he would cure the world
In this case we refer to the death of Dr. Paul Edward Farmer, who became known for his central objective of caring for low-income people. That led him to study medicine and earn a Ph.D. from Harvard University. He later became a professor at Kolokotrons University and chairman of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Trajectory and importance of Dr. Paul Farmer
During his stay as a professor at Harvard University, he was in charge of transmitting the sense of humanism to future generations of doctors.
