Long summer trips by car require that we carry the vehicle in the best conditions, both for our comfort during the journey and to ensure road safety for everyone.
You already know that the DGT is dedicated throughout the year to remind us of basic road rules so that we do not forget that on the road the important thing is to arrive.
That is why they share tricks, tips and rules that allow us travel safely, or at least according to what the authorities understand as prudent and safe.
The last recommendation of the DGT has been published on Twitter with a very simple illustration, although they have lacked one last point that we will now add.
As you already know from the title of the article, the advice is about the mirrors and their placement, giving the pertinent indications to have them focused perfectly.
According to the tweet of the General Directorate of Traffic, the interior mirror of the car must be centered with the rear window, so that we can see well and without obstacles everything that happens on the road behind us. Avoid having objects that protrude from the trunk that can bother you.
Then we have the left mirror, the mandatory for the administration, and which should focus on the road that is on the side of our vehicle but without seeing the body of the car, in order to ensure that we cover as much of the road as possible.
Finally, what the DGT has left in the pipeline is the recommendation of the right mirror that, because it is identical to the left, all we have to do is follow the same indications than with the one on the left but focusing towards your side of the vehicle.
In this way we will carry the mirrors as the authorities recommend, so we can save ourselves a fine if they stop us and, most importantly, we will go safer while we travel.
