The crew of the submersible Titanpractically, they would already be without oxygen after starting their trip last Sunday June 18. The authorities are working against the clock to be able to rescue the five crew members of this trip, which already anticipates a risk of death prior to embarking on the journey.

For his part, Stockton Rush, CEO of OceanGate (company in charge of establishing the trip) stressed that crew members have to sign a long waiver document that mentions the possibility of death three times on the first page.
As if that were not enough, if the submersible remains at the bottom of the sea for a long time, the occupants face very low temperatures with cold just above freezing and the possibility of developing hypothermia.
Pogue pointed out that on the trip “you are on your own” and there is only one way out: “There are no reinforcements, there is no escape route, it is to reach the surface or die.”

a suicide mission
The German Arthur Loibl, one of the people who undertook the trip years ago, affirmed that during his journey there were setbacks that they managed to solve. “It was a suicide mission back then!” sentenced.
“You need strong nerves, you must not be claustrophobic and you have to be able to sit cross-legged for ten hours (…). It must be hell down there. There is only 2.50 meters of space, it is four degrees, there is no chair, there is no bathroom ”, indicated the German businessman, making clear the situation that people could be experiencing inside the submersible.
