If the public could notice the anxiety, stress and desperation that Princess Diana experienced when she was persecuted everywhere by the press and fans, this was something that Elizabeth Debicki also experienced very closely.

THE DEATH OF PRINCESS DIANA IN REAL LIFE
Princess Diana died in a tragic car accident on August 31, 1997. As the series shows, the accident occurred in the Soul Bridge tunnel in Paris, France.
Diana was traveling in a car driven by her driver, Henri Paul, along with businessman Dodi Fayed. The couple was being chased by paparazzi when the vehicle lost control, hit a column in the tunnel and ended up overturning.
Diana was taken to the hospital, but sadly, she passed away due to injuries sustained in the accident. Dodi Fayed and Henri Paul also lost their lives in the incident. Diana’s bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, was the only survivor of the crash, although he also suffered significant injuries.
The event led to investigations into the circumstances of the accident and fueled various conspiracy theories that have persisted over the years.
