Last year we already received the great news that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance would be back remastered for current systems. Interplay’s work received a good facelift and now it’s the turn of the second part. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II will be back next week.
That’s right, both the publisher and Wizards of the Coast have confirmed that on July 20 we will have access to the 2004 classic for both Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC, including verification with Steam Deck. Of course, a long-awaited return brings important changes under the arm.
For example, all versions will have ssupport for local cooperative multiplayer, with Steam Remote Play, and the resolution you can achieve will be up to 4K. In this spin-off of the saga we have to free Baldur’s Gate from a dark and indescribable evil by fighting through 80 different levels.
Of course, each one of them has passageways, areas and secret elements that are waiting for us to be discovered. The Hobgoblins, Ghouls, Golems and even the huge Dragons await us in combat, so we will have to be prepared by forging our own weapons and armor.
