This Saturday will be the last of the three days without VAT created by the National Government to boost consumption.
This last date will join the Black Friday discounts from November 27 to 29 for online purchases in the categories of fashion, technology, home, health and beauty, which is intended to facilitate purchases of the Christmas season.
Given this, companies again take on the challenge of providing a positive shopping experience in relation to quality in connectivity, adaptation of digital platforms, security and payment systems in the country, taking into account that on the second day without VAT sales transactions from digital channels increased 24% compared to the first day without VAT , according to Credibanco data.
Juan Manuel González, Director of Data Products & Internet at Lumen in Colombia, pointed out that a Content Distribution Network (CDN) is a solution that operates over the Internet and optimizes network resources to achieve a massification of data around the world of a reliable way, which allows companies to support such high consultation figures as those registered on discount dates from their digital platforms.
“CDN technology allows content generators to maintain the stability of their service with international connections to guarantee a good experience for users who choose to buy from a digital platform, which will be experienced again at the end of November with the confirmation of several discount dates, ” said González.
Similarly, he explained that companies have the challenge of working on the creation and updating of their website, linking a secure payment gateway, with electronic invoicing and dispatches in an agile way. In addition, do not neglect the security offered to users when they make their purchases online, taking into account that these transactions require the handling of debit or credit cards.
“Bearing in mind that 75.5% of purchases on July 3 were made with a credit card and 24.5% with a debit card, according to a Credibanco report, people need to have the confidence and peace of mind to carry out their transactions without risks “, pointed out González.
