The Callisto Protocol seems to be one of the most outstanding exponents of its genre of the year for lovers of science fiction horror, since the game aims to reinvigorate the very niche that was once dominated by none other than Dead Space. Interestingly, the Dead Space remake also has a release set relatively soon, but there may be more separating the two games than just their IP, as according to a recent interview, The Callisto Protocol will have 4 years of post-launch supportincluding new DLCs.
Striking Distance Studios CTO Mark James recently did an interview on The Callisto Protocol where he discussed the studio’s plans to support the game after release. While dead space seems to be a unique experience, which is true to the original game, The Callisto Protocol is receiving a series of post-launch expansion packs and DLC.

The Callisto Protocol will have 4 years of support
Details of The Callisto Protocol special edition content and pre-order giveaways had already hinted that this would be the case, but the game is being built to support a substantial selection of additional content alongside its main campaign. Since The Callisto Protocol is scarier than Dead Space, according to the developers, fans of this genre have a lot to look forward to in early December. If Mark James claims there will be years of post-launch content, this experience can be a pleasure in more ways than many expected initially.
