If something works, why change it? This seems to be Apple’s premise regarding the marketing of its smartwatch. The Apple Watch has been leading the smartwatch market for many years, and perhaps for this reason the company has not ventured to implement a drastic change in its design.
The latest rumors from @L0vetodream’s Twitter account suggest that the 2020 Apple Watch Series 6 will have the same screen as the 2019 Apple Watch Series 5.
in my dream the Apple Watch S6 will continue use the display from JDI

“IN MY DREAM THE APPLE WATCH SERIES 6 WILL CONTINUE TO USE THE SCREEN FROM JAPAN DISPLAY INC.”
Apple will launch its new version of the Apple Watch starting in the fall
As with the iPhone 12 line, the company with the bitten apple logo is expected to launch a new Apple Watch Series 6 in the fall. His presentation will probably take place during the month of September.
Today’s leak details that Apple will continue to use the same OLED display for Apple Watch that manufacturing firm Japan Display Inc. manufactured for the Apple Watch Series 5.
Japan Display received a financial investment of $ 936 million in January 2020, followed by another additional investment of $ 200 million from a customer who appeared to be Apple.
If the rumors are true, it is very likely that Apple will continue to use the same design of the Apple Watch Series 5 in its Apple Watch Series 6, since the shape of the smartwatch depends directly on the size and characteristics of its screen. So unfortunately it looks like we’ll have to wait another year for Apple to renew the design and/or use micro-LED technology.
