A new investigation in sight
Sometimes in our country we have to wait a long, long time until certain anime movies come out in our theaters (yes, I look at you ‘Promare’ and ‘Belle’), keeping us on our toes for months.
With the new ‘Detective Conan’ movie it seems that things have been easier, from Alfa Pictures it has been confirmed that ‘Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween’ will be released in Spain next July 8, just a few months after it opens in Japan next month. They have not yet been confirmed, it will arrive only in Japanese with subtitles or there will also be the option to see it dubbed in Spanish.
‘Halloween Bride’ is the 25th film based on the legendary anime. According to the official synopsis: “The story revolves around the wedding of Detectives Sato and Takagi, which is interrupted by a robbery that ends up getting the worst of Takagi. Meanwhile, a jailbreak takes place involving the perpetrator of an attack, and Rei Furuya crosses paths with a mysterious person in disguise who ends up putting an explosive collar on him. As Conan and his gang begin to investigate all the facts, they become the target of a very peculiar group.”
The Japanese dub features the voice actors of the characters in the anime series, with the return of Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa Wakana Yamazaki as Ran Mouri Toru Furuya as Tōru Amuro and Rikiya Koyama as Kogoro Mouri.
In command of the direction of ‘Detective Conan: Halloween Bride’ we have Susumu Mitsunaka, the director of ‘Haikyuu!! The volleyball aces’, while the script has been taken care of Takahiro Okura, who has already written ‘Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire’ for the movie franchise. The main theme of the film will be ‘Chronostasis’ and is performed by the rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN.
While the premiere arrives, the Detective Conan anime series can be seen on Prime Video, Crunchyroll, and Pluto TV.
