The “small” enterprises can represent a considerable act to boost the economy of the people.
Students find in their schools an attractive point to ensure the sale of some products.
65 percent of startups disappear within the first two years of their appearance.
A student has chosen to take her school entrepreneurship to the next level, leaving the candies for sale aside and offering a new business opportunity.
It is well known that education can become somewhat expensive for a large sector of the population, at different levels, which was even more affected by the decline in the economy due to the pandemic. According to the results of the Survey to Measure the Impact of Covid-19, it is mentioned that “for reasons associated with Covid-19 or due to lack of money or resources 5.2 million people (9.6 percent of the total ages three to 29) were not enrolled in the 2020-2021 school year..
Likewise, economic problems already existed before the Covid-19 crisis, so students were constantly encouraged to carry out certain ventures in their schools and classrooms to support a little in the economic activity of their homes (regardless of their age or academic level), where the sale of sweets was shown as a small, attractive and recognized business offer.
Despite this, this type of informal micro-commerce activities were stopped by the online education modality; however, students have already returned to the face-to-face format to find new ways to increase their income with small businesses.
Users on social networks have spotted a new type of entrepreneurship within schoolswhere the already classic sale of sweets would have been left aside, on this occasion to offer the students or customers sweet bread.

Although this type of sale is not entirely well seen by the institutions, this small entrepreneurship that puts aside the sale of sweets and receives the purchase of breadhas managed to call and hit the attention of Internet users, who applaud their initiative and share other types of products that they came to sell such as “I sold cigarettes at university, the best thing is that I never smoked, everything was profit”, “Yes, I am, I sell Bolobanes at school, they are bread with ham, chili or cheese”, “I sell hamburgers”, “in my uni they sold everything, it looked like a market, they sold fruit with chili, sweets, ice cream, skittles, banderillas , waters, basket tacos and more”, among other types of comments where they mention that they took advantage of their presence in schools to carry out their endeavors.
With or without economic crisis due to the pandemic, the ventures are shown as an attractive offer to increase our incomeif they manage to be carried out efficiently and these do not end up falling into the harsh reality of most businesses in Mexico.
According to data from Condusef and the Mexican Ministry of Economy, of every 100 new companies that manage to establish themselves in the country, 65 percent of them disappear before completing two years of existence in the marketmainly due to an unassertive administration.
This shows the importance that, when we have a new business idea that we plan to carry out, we start beforehand with a small venture to verify that we are on the right track and not lose all the investment that we had contemplated.
An example of another ingenious venture that proved to have scaled little by little, we have it with the “Michomóvil”, the car that sells ice cream from La Michoacana through the streets of CDMX and won the attention of Internet users and other customers, thanks to the fact that managed to sell a product already present in the market, but taking them directly into the hands of the consumer.
Offering a product with its respective added value and differential from the competition, can be a determining factor when it comes to ensuring success within a venture.
