daddy has presented in society a new and interesting conceptual model. The Tata Avinya Concept has burst onto the scene with the aim of showing the world the possibilities offered by the GEN 3 platform. Derived from the Sanskrit language, the name Avinya means Innovation. It is a project on which the Indian car manufacturer has applied its most advanced technology.
The company invites us to pay close attention to the main keys of the Avinya. The reason? We are before a concept car that lays the foundation for a future production electric car. A model that is part of the electrical offensive that Tata has launched.
The design of the new Tata Avinya Concept
Just take a quick look at the images that illustrate this article to discover what are the most determining features of the new conceptual model created by Tata. The Indian company claims that the design is timeless and originally inspired by a catamaran. A vehicle in which the brand’s vision of the future has been embodied. A future that goes through electrification at its highest level and autonomous driving.
Beyond the aforementioned inspiration in the nautical world, Tata has highlighted that the best of a hatchback-type vehicle has been combined with the luxuries and versatility that can be found in an SUV and the functionality that can be found in a minivan. The result of mixing these three concepts is the new Avinya Concept.
At the front and at the rear, Tata’s new visual identity has been reflected thanks to the design of modern optical groups in which LED technology is the protagonist. Another detail that we cannot overlook is the door opening system, which facilitates access and exit from the passenger compartment.
The interior of the new Tata Avinya Concept
Leaving aside the outside, if we go into the interior of the new Avinya Concept we will quickly be enveloped by a minimalist and elegant environment. Unlike what we are used to, Tata has chosen not to include any screen for the multimedia system. The reason? Avoid distractions on board. Moreover, the only screens that we can find inside are the one on the instrument panel and those on the digital rear-view mirrors. That is, the fair and necessary in this case.
The use of a platform dedicated to 100% electric vehicles has allowed Tata designers to take certain licenses and, above all, create a spacious cabin. The fact that the seats can be rotated shows that technologies related to autonomous driving play an important role in this new concept car.
The platform of the new Tata Avinya Concept
Tata has not gone into detail about the powertrain the Avinya Concept uses. But he has pointed out the fact that it is the company’s first electric vehicle to make use of the GEN 3 platform. An agile and robust architecture compatible with the most advanced technology in terms of connectivity and automation. The Avinya Concept is also equipped with fast charging technology, being able to obtain a minimum range of 500 kilometers in less than 30 minutes.
Tata’s new concept model lays the groundwork for a future mass-production electric vehicle. A model that will be introduced to the market sometime in 2025.
