According to data provided by the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE) point out that the number of employed professionals in the country is just over 10.4 million people; however, SherlockHR points out that in the last three years, companies have begun to witness a talent shortage of at least 3 percent.

Talent shortage, a growing problem

However, it should be noted that this problem not only concerns the technology sectors, but also commerce is one of the sectors that most needs talent with 69 percent, while the sectors, hospitality and tourism, present figures close to 58 percent.
Similarly, it has been pointed out that at least 7 out of 10 SMEs lack trained personnel within their labor ranks, so it is estimated that this problem affects just over 70 percent of small and medium-sized companies, which they provide seven out of every ten jobs in the country, and contribute just over 52 percent of the national GDP.
