Our story begins in a quiet town in Kyushu in southwestern Japan. Suzume’s journey takes off when she comes across a worn-out door standing amidst the ruins. Attracted by its power, she reaches out and turns the handle. One after another, gates begin to open across Japan, unleashing destruction on anyone nearby. Suzume It has been nominated for several awards, including Best Animated Feature at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and Animation of the Year at the 46th Japanese Film Academy Awards. At the second ceremony he took home the award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
