The long-awaited remake of Super Mario RPG is about to arrive on the Nintendo Switch with a ton of surprises and additional content which was not present in the original version.
According to a report from Hobby Consolesthrough the game’s official page in Japan, exciting new features have been revealed that await us in this renewed classic.
One of the most exciting additions is a audio track player. This is unlocked once you complete the video game and will allow you to enjoy all the melodies of the game in both its Switch version and the SNES classics. An interesting surprise is that the song switching feature could also inadvertently act as a useful accessibility option for deaf people.
The Super Mario RPG remake will also include an item that will provide you with key information and detailed statistics about the enemies and monsters you will face on your adventure. You will be able to know their weaknesses and obtain important information to defeat them more easily.
Special moves
An exciting revelation is the inclusion of new special moves that were never present in the original game. These include the Invincible Spiked Shell, Star Riders, a Protective Veil, and a Great Spark, Freeze, and Fire Bomb. These moves will add a fresh and exciting dimension to the gameplay.
The remake also includes gameplay improvements, such as the ability to switch between walking and running, rearranging button layouts during battles, and the ability to save at any time outside of a fight. These improvements make the gaming experience more fluid and adaptable to individual player preferences.
Super Mario RPG is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch on November 17.
