In the distant 1997, a video game called Street Fightertoday a fighting classic and one of Capcom’s most treasured franchises, especially since the sequel Street Fighter II came out in 1991.
Gamers are clear that this title is based on one-on-one fights, using different types of attacks to deplete the opponent’s life points, while defensive techniques are used to avoid taking damage. But although it seems like a simple plot, the antiquity of Street Fighter has allowed its characters to have stories.
Unfortunately, this franchise has not been able to have a great live-action adaptation in the cinema. Some remember the failed tape Street Fighter: The Last Standwith Jean Claud Van Damme like Colonel William Guile. Gross, honestly.
While Street Fighter fans are waiting for someone to come up with a decent live-action feature film or series, artificial intelligence (AI) offers a glimpse of what a live-action production would look like today.
The live-action of Street Fighter, according to artificial intelligence
A report published on the website of 3D Games share images of some characters from this acclaimed video game series, such as Ryu or Chun-Li, generated by Midjourney’s artificial intelligence and as if they were part of a live action movie.
Like the different DALL-E versions of OpenIA, Midjourney is an artificial intelligence program with which users can create images from textual descriptions.
It was a Street Fighter fan who used the AI to generate hyper-realistic character images, starting with fandom favorites Ryu and Chun-Li.
He also offered glimpses of M. Bison, Blanka, Zangief and of course de Guileof which we could say that he looks more like Van Damme than Van Damme himself.
