The production of the new Mazda CX-60 2022 has already started at the Japanese headquarters of Hofu, in Yamaguchi. The Japanese firm has set itself the goal that the new plug-in hybrid SUV is in European and Japanese dealerships, its main markets, starting next summer.
In just over three months, the first units of the new Mazda CX-60 will start arriving at European dealers. The Japanese firm started production of its new SUV on March 11, 2022 at the Hofu factory in Yamaguchi. A model that will coexist for a few months with the current generation of the Mazda6 entering a market niche in which it was not present until now, that of D-segment SUVand in which he intends to gain a foothold.
Mazda wants to play its role as a premium brandboth in Japan and Europe, the two main markets where this unprecedented model will be sold, positioned one step above the CX-5 and, for now, with el high-end paper until arrival in 2023 of a new generation of the Mazda6 and also the confirmed CX-80, another SUV with an interior capacity of up to seven seats. A mechanical option that will be as exclusive as it is efficient, with which sales have begun, but which will be complemented with a pair of new invoice diesel that will arrive in 2023.
