It has just turned five years on the market, and the British firm has decided to give a boost to the sales of the sportiest luxurious SUV on offer. The Range Rover Velar Facelift 2023 has been hunted again in some spy photos, hiding a more attractive aesthetic improvement, and adding important new features.
The fourth model in the Land Rover range accumulates no less than five years for salesince it was launched on the market in the summer of 2017. Since then, the firm has been chaining continuous improvements in the Velar, one of the sportiest options in terms of design that was conceived as a direct response to the successful BMW X6 but with a very different format.
By 2024, the British are implementing a real facelift in the Range Rover Velaras you can see in these new spy photos. Camouflaged front and back, the vinyl conceals a revised front end where the design of LED daytime running lights will give way to a more modern style with a similar cord to that of the new Range Rover Sport.

The bumper will also be remodeled, as will the rear that will be accompanied by a new light signature on the pilots, as the design of the headlights will remain intact. Inside, the 2023 Velar Facelift will enhance the dashboard structure with a new touch screen up to 13.1 inches for the “PiviPro” infotainment and multimedia system, which will also add the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Land Rover will also apply innovations to the chassis, which will mean a significant improvement in driving dynamics. Among others, it is expected tuned air suspension and active stabilizer bars with a 48 V motor that will prevent body roll.
Where great news is not expected is in terms of mechanics, since diesels already have 48-volt MHEV technology, so only it is expected that this will reach the gasoline versions. PHEVs must improve their autonomy with a higher capacity battery, so the autonomy will increase distancing itself from the current 50 kilometers. The Range Rover Velar Facelift will be presented, predictably, in early 2023 and put on sale late next spring.
