Yesterday the first Splatfest of Splatoon 3, which gave all Nintendo Switch players the opportunity to try out the new installment before its release on September 9. The theme this time was rock (Shiver), paper (Frye) and scissors (Big Man), and the winner was the team of Shiver.
A few hours ago, Nintendo published the result of the first Splatfest of Splatoon 3, shortly after the talented illustrator Par0 will celebrate the victory of Team Roca with a great illustration of Shiver, from the new group Deep Cut.

Par0 is a talented 19-year-old Australian illustrator with a very distinctive style, and this is his first time illustrating Splatoon. Shiver’s fan art could be some of his best recent work and is very similar in style, which is why some Splatoon 3 fans have asked the artist to do another illustration of Frye.
At the moment Par0 isn’t sure if he’ll do a Frye fan art to go along with the Shiver one he posted earlier today, but at least he didn’t rule out the idea when asked by a fan. The other works Par0 has submitted usually feature original characters, though he does occasionally post fan art similar to that of Splatoon 3.
The first Splatoon 3 Splatfest arrived before its official launch on Nintendo Switch with the intention that all players could try it. This required players to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, so Nintendo accompanied the Splatfest download with a free 7-day NSO code.
