When to offer it to your baby?
According to the Official Mexican Standard 043, Criteria to Provide Food Orientation, it must be added to the diet of children from 12 months, since it is considered a very allergenic food, this is because the girl’s immune system considers it a little harmful, and when consumed it releases substances called histamines into the bloodstream, to neutralize the protein it contains, causing symptoms such as: stomach pain, hives and diarrhea. However, some pediatricians recommend adding it to the child’s diet until two years of age. The ideal is to consult with the doctor when you can do it.
