Who has not deleted an old publication on a social network? Considering that it is a fairly frequent practice and that in many occasions involves more than one message or publication, Facebook has presented a new option that allows you to delete mass publications from our profile on this social network.
Although Facebook already allowed us to delete any publication, in the case of the older ones it was necessary to scroll to find them, making the task quite tedious. To solve the problem, Facebook now allows you to search for posts by filters such as “date” or “people” and delete them en masse. This makes it easy to quickly remove unwanted content linked to your profile.
How to delete Facebook posts en masse?
To improve the experience of finding and deleting Facebook posts, the company has added the functionality in the “Activity Log”, for now, it is only available on iOS and Android and still waiting for web support. In case you have something pending to eliminate, the time has come and here are the steps to follow:
- Open Facebook on your iPhone.
- Go to the profile page by tapping your photo on the Facebook home screen in the upper left corner.
- Now tap the Go to Activity Log button.
- Tap Manage activity at the top and then choose Your posts.
- Select multiple posts to delete or archive in bulk.
- Tap Filters at the top to sort your posts by category, date, or people.
- Select the posts to delete and touch delete or archive. By deleting a post, Facebook will do it completely after 30 days. In the meantime, if you choose the file option, others will no longer be able to see the content, but it will remain on Facebook.
Without a doubt, both options are a good alternative to remove content that we no longer want in our account, in a few simple steps.
