Blue Origin, the commercial spaceflight company founded by Jeff Bezos, announced that Pete Davidson will be one of six crew members on its next mission, which is the fourth human flight of the New Shepard rocket and the 20th in its history. More info here!
Founded by Jeff Bezos in 2000, Blue Origin is an aerospace transportation company whose objective is suborbital and orbital flights, both for official United States missions and for private flights. On his next mission, which would become the fourth human flight of the rocket New Shepard and the twentieth in its history, one of the crew members will be Peter Davidsonshow comedian Saturday Night Live and current media partner Kim Kardashian.
Blue Origin announced today who will be the five members of the crew that will accompany Peter Davidson on the flight: the CEO of Party America, Marty Allen; philanthropist and real estate tycoon Marc Hage and his wife, Sharon Hagefounder of SpaceKids Global; Jim Kitchen, professor at the University of North Carolina; and dr. George Nieldpresident of Commercial Space Technologies.
The next NS-20 flight will be on March 23 and will launch from the company’s Texas spaceport. Live coverage of the launch can be viewed on BlueOrigin.com. Each person aboard the NS-20 will take a postcard to space on behalf of the foundation of Blue Origin, Club for the Futurewhose program (Postcards to Space) allows students to send a postcard into space on the company’s rockets. The mission of the foundation is “inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for its acronym in English) for the benefit of the earth”.

This time they will have Peter Davidson, recognized for being part of the cast of Saturday night Live since 2014, co-writing and starring in the film The King of Staten Island (2020) and participate in The Suicide Squad (2021), directed by James Gunn.
