Viewsonic has announced the expansion of its catalog of monitors with the arrival of a new model. It is the ViewSonic X1000, an ultra-short throw projector that stands out for incorporating a sound bar and for offering projections up to 150 inches with 4K resolution.
The ViewSonic X1000 is the brand’s first ultra-short-throw model. A model that has the DLP system, an acronym for Digital Light Processing, a technology that offers a high level of contrast, good luminosity, great quality of blacks and shadow details and more sharpness.
Harman Kardon Integrated Soundbar
The ViewSonic X1000 is a model capable of 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), with images that, depending on the brand, go from 60 to 150 inches when placed at a distance of between 15.9 and 65.7 centimeters from the wall. These types of projectors are ideal for homes that do not have much space.
It is a DLP projector with XPR, a pixel swapping technology that enables true 4K resolution with 8.3 million different pixels. Other features include a brightness of 2,400 LED lumens, a contrast ratio of 3,000,000: 1 and a lamp life of up to 30,000 hours.
But what really stands out about this model is that it includes a signed Harman Kardon soundbar. An integrated bar and consisting of two 20 W loudspeakers and a subwoofer. In this way and if the result is optimal, this project would address a classic deficiency in this type of product that usually offers a very fair sound.
The Viewsonic X1000 also has a 23 dB sound level in Eco mode and 25 dB when using Normal mode. Regarding the connections, it has an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB Type A socket, a USB Type C port and an RJ45 Ethernet connection.
In addition, the X1000 is compatible with the vCastSender application, which allows local streaming from mobile. It also has pre-installed applications that allow access to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Spotify and Twitch.
