The situation in our country is not at its best. The main problem that affects the entire population is violence. All areas are exposed because there are no longer safe places and a doctor murdered in the country’s capital has caused strong indignation in the health union.
In this sense, over the last few months the complicated panorama faced by health professionals in rural areas has been made public. since they are students are sent for 12 months to the most remote areas of the country to fulfill their social service.
Violence faced by health professionals
In addition to shortcomings and poor facilities, they must also suffer from another problem. It’s about the violence that persists in those places. It has even been denounced that the authorities are in collusion with organized crime.

This is Dr. Alejandra Zárate Osorno, who was 63 years old and was also considered one of the best specialists in the country. According to police reports, she was found dead in the trunk of her car. She is mentioned as having signs of strangulation although the motive for the attack is still unclear. In fact there aren’t even any suspects or any leads that can lead to those responsible.

Dr. Zárate studied Medicine at the Military Medical School and later specialized in Pathological anatomy. In addition, he served as Head of the Pathology Service at the Spanish Hospital and was coordinator of Pathology of the satellite hospital corporate.
It was certified by Mexican Council of Anatomical Pathologists (COMMAP) and had additional training in Surgical Pathology, Immunohistochemistry, Hematopathology and Nephropathology.
He also collaborated with six journals and published 21 articles, including one on Internal Medicine, in which he explained the Castleman’s disease. He also wrote about pathology in the magazines: Latin American; of Gastroenterology of Mexico; Clinical Research; of Military Health; and Mexican of Urology.
So far, the Federation of Pathological Anatomy of the Mexican Republic; the Mexican Association for the Study of Hematology; the Corporate Satellite Hospital; and the Advanced Pathology Center of Sonora; and the Mexican College and Association of Pathologists They have lamented what happened with the murdered doctor.

Meanwhile he College and Mexican Association of Pathologists published a letter demanding that the authorities guarantee adequate living conditions. They assure that at present aggressions have been normalized and these types of attacks occur every day without there being punishments for the guilty.
