A few months ago, Capcom announced the new expansion of the story we live in Resident Evil Village, where we would go from controlling Ethan Winters to controlling Rose Winters, Ethan’s very daughter, who seems to have to face her past. Capcom has already shown us that the expansion will be played in the third person, but today we have learned a very important detail, and that is that Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose will last around 4 hours.
We have learned this information through an interview with IGN Japan, where the director of the expansion Kento Kinoshita has confirmed that the duration of this content will reach 4 hours, making it one of the longest content in the franchise. Also, Kinoshita ensures that the DLC will be set in several locations (although we’ve only seen Dimitrescu Castle), and by taking place in the mind of the megamycete, we expect the environments to be very different than they might be in reality.

Undoubtedly, many of the fans of the installments of the Winters family will not want to miss this outcome, since as we announced a few days ago, this expansion will conclude the story that began in Resident Evil 7, closing a stage that is very dear to many. franchise fans (We must not forget that the seventh installment was the title that made the franchise resurface again). Let’s hope that Capcom brings us content that lives up to what the Winters family deserves.
