Men with nagging wives have better health, according to Michigan State University. What do you think? Is it true that self-sacrificing spouses enjoy better health?
According to a study by the Michigan State University of the United States, it was concluded that men who live with wives of strong character, or scolding, so to speak, live longer and in better health than those who do not count with this type of couples.
The study revealed that controlling wives guarantee a better lifestyle for their partners since they are more aware of their husbands’ health, especially if they are sick or have poor eating or hygiene habits.
The research carried out by Michigan State University lasted about 5 years. In the tests, 1,228 married people were studied where there were women with a strong character and, of course, men who complained about the treatment of their wives, either because of their controlling possession, their scolding or their rigid temperament.
Furthermore, it was also discovered that not only the husbands of these women live longer and better. But they also do it, since they try to maintain a healthy diet as well as an impeccable state of health.
