So far, 2.5 million tickets have been sold for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
To date, the Qatar 2022 World Cup is the most expensive in history.
In 2018, FIFA achieved revenues of more than four billion dollars, more than half of what it registered in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
November is the month in which Qatar 2022 will become a reality to bring together thousands of football fans; a World Cup, of course, cataloged as historic and, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated events after the health emergency that prevented, among other things, the presence of fans in the stadiums.
We must not forget that the World Cup is, without a doubt, one of the sporting events that generates the most income in marketingtransmission rights, ticket sales, merchandiseand so on.
In that sense, in terms of sales for transmission rights and all kinds of merchandise, the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has already secured 5 thousand 518 million euros, months before the initial whistle sounds.
However, for this edition, according to FIFA data, very important income is expected, especially because the last World Cup, that of Russia, achieved revenues of more than four billion dollars, more than half of what was recorded in the World Cup in Brazil, in 2014.
Without a doubt, we are talking about one of the most important competitions in an era in which the end of the pandemic is in sight and the experiences of live events have regained a new relevance for fans.
To date, according to FIFA reports, more than 2.5 million tickets have already been sold for the sporting event of the year, with Mexico, Qatar, the United States, England and the United Arab Emirates are the countries that will bring the most fans to the World Cup.
Even, Mexico is in the Top 5 of the countries that have sold the most tickets so far. In addition, according to what has been announced by the highest governing body of soccer at a global level, during the first stage of ticket sales for Qatar 2022, just over 800 thousand tickets were sold.
Save two years to go to Qatar 2022 and this together; is it enough?
On TikTok, there is a video in which a young man is shown saving his $5.00 and $10.00 pesos coins with the aim of collecting as much as possible to live the Qatar 2022 experience.
Gathering the money in a plastic container, the user shares with his followers the process that took him to collect all the coins to the point of separating them by denomination and, finally, making the sum.

Actually, according to what is read in one of the comments of the second video, these savings will be used for “extra expenses” in Qatar 202, but… how much does it cost to go to the World Cup?
According to data from Moris Deick, a business strategy consultant and also a podcaster, going to Qatar 2022 could generate the following expenses: 47 thousand 600 the trip; 12 thousand 500 lodging; 2,200 meals; 13,200 tickets; and a total of 1,740 pesos for extra expenses.
