SakaGUCCI arrives in Final Fantasy XIV stores to award the best custom clothing in the game… from the hand of its creator!
If something was missing from the great saga of final-fantasy is to have your own brand of clothing for sale, or at least that of its creator. Indeed, Hironobu Sakaguchicreator of the saga, designed his own brand of virtual clothing to wear within Final Fantasy 14 that he and the fans call SakaGUCCI. Obviously, it has nothing to do with the real Gucci.
The truth is that we are going to be able to amaze ourselves with the outfits in the final fantasy XIV. In the game, you can take jobs that are not warrior or mage and are more like blacksmith, carpenter, goldsmith type things and thus create weapons, armor, accessories and clothing. Sakaguchi started doing the weaver quest, which is used to make t-shirts, pants, and clothes, but they are not necessarily exclusive designs, they can be done by any player.
In Sakaguchi’s official twitter we can see several images with characters from the famous MMO dresses with the new “brand”. These outfits are made by Sakaguchi’s Lalafel and are sold in the market, something all players do with the clothes they create as they level up.
In Final Fantasy 14, if we buy clothes from another player, it will retain its original name as a kind of signature. This means that, in the event that Sakaguchi manufactures more garments, these can become in-game collectibles. In any case, this would be an assumption, since the same creator plans to keep his models, but without keeping the brand.
These fashion pieces within Final Fantasy XIV are, without a doubt, the most important that were designed in the game. For this reason, Sakaguchi asked those who bought them a favor: once acquired, they could not be resold. This is something completely logical, since pieces like this could have a great monetary and emotional value. In addition, he asked that all items be adorned so that they cannot be traded. A limited edition.
Regarding the cost of the clothes, we know that they are not cheap, but they are not paid with real money but with the currency of the game. This isn’t a real-money microtransaction, but since it’s from Sakaguchi, you can still expect to pay significantly more than comparable models from other players.
Right now, Sakaguchi’s character is a level 90 weaver. Of the garments he creates, he confirmed that the price depends on the difficulty and how expensive the materials are.
