Comic-Con San Diego is coming up, the event where studios are hosting content announcements for many of the biggest and most popular franchises, ranging from Marvel to DC, and encompassing some of the most unexpected brands, and among a long list of possible revelations, we have heard that Saint Seiya will join the event with a first look at his live-action movie.
That’s right, this update comes from the comic-con from San Diego, as the event released a blurb about their Saint Seiya panel recently, and according to the description, Knights of the Zodiac will take the stage at the event on July 23 with a first look at their live-action movie.
So far it has been revealed that the panel will feature madison iseman Y Diego Tinoco starring in the film, as well as producer Yoshi Ikezawa, as well as fight choreographer Andy Cheng and screenwriters Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken.
So for all those who didn’t know about the live action adaptation, sony pictures is distributing the Saint Seiya movie together with Toei Animarionthis film will star Mackenyu in his title role alongside Iseman and Tinoco, to be joined later by Sean Bean, Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Mark Dacascos and more.
Saint Seiya, the legendary anime title, known to many as the Knights of the Zodiac, has a great history, this series that began as a manga under the direction of Masami Kurumada in 1986 and tells the story of five mystical heroes who draw their powers from the stars, tasked with defending the reincarnated goddess Athena against other gods who would harm her or the Earth if they allow it.
