For the past few days, we have been posting some of the first rumors about the iPhone 13. It is surprising that, in the absence of knowing the iPhone 12, there is already information on the Internet about Apple’s flagship for 2021. Among the most interesting features of these rumors were the substantial improvement of the photographic section.
According to Twitter user Fudge, the iPhone 13 would come with four cameras and a LiDAR sensor. The first sensor would be a 64-megapixel wide-angle. Second, the camera module would include a 40-megapixel telephoto lens. Finally, we would have two lenses, one 64-megapixel anamorphic to capture video and another 40-megapixel with reverse optical zoom.
We already warned you that this advance of the specifications of the iPhone 13 had to be taken with tweezers. However, Jon Prosser, known for his wise leaks about Apple products, has been more forthright. As stated, there is a 0% chance that the rumors about the quad module of the iPhone 13 are true.
So yeah, um, this is not real.

Prosser claimed on Twitter that the iPhone 13 or iPhone 12s would have the exact same design as its predecessor, the iPhone 12. In this way, it would be ruled out, almost entirely, that the image that Fudge published is real and reliable.
LiDAR sensor has more logic on iPhone 12

It makes more sense to give credit to rumor mill if we refer to the LiDAR scanner. This feature is already a reality in the 2020 iPad Pro and Apple is putting a lot of effort to promote augmented reality among developers.
It is possible, therefore, that the iPhone 12 does include this sensor in its camera module. In fact, it was the same Twitter user, Fudge, who leaked the photographic settings of the iPhone 12 on April 5. Do you think the iPhone 12 will come with a LiDAR scanner? Be the first to comment!
