Let us remember that, “Her Majesty” was laid to rest last week at the King George VI Memorial Chapel, located in the grounds of Windsor Castle, an hour’s drive from London.
The castle is usually open to tourists five days a week, but was temporarily closed to the public following the queen’s death on September 1.
On Thursday, however, the Royal Collection Trust announced that the castle grounds had reopened to visitors, but the usual ticket prices would not apply to visitors who wanted to pay their respects to the monarch.
