Within the framework of LaBITconf, the RSK team is organizing the first summit dedicated to this layer 2 blockchain project built on the Bitcoin network on November 10 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Roostock Summit will be a full day bringing together key influencers and ecosystem participants to make several crucial announcements about the future of Rootstock and its growing ecosystem.
The idea of this event is, on the one hand, to celebrate the 5 years of the blockchain and give a strong push to the DeFi ecosystem on bitcoin that is being put together. That’s why they also invite all the projects that build on Rootstock like Sovryn, Money on Chain, Tropykus, Defiant.
The agenda includes various topics on the different solutions that are being built on this layer 2 such as DeFi in Bitcoin, Scalability, Identity, Interoperability and Security, among other topics of interest to the blockchain community in general.
The event will be the ideal time for Diego Gutierrez Zaldiviar, Co-Founder of RSK and CEO of IOV Labs, to formally announce the rebirth of the RSK brand under the term Roostock.
RSK is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which means that all smart contracts deployed on Ethereum can also be deployed on this layer 2 solution.
In addition, the project is guaranteed by more than 50% of the computing power that ensures the Bitcoin network, hence its high security for the deployment of various use cases such as DeFi, which is one of the bastions that will be promoted in this Roosevelt Summit.
It is worth mentioning that the event will be broadcast live throughout the day on the Roostock server of the official Discord channel of the protocol.
