In 2022, Mexico City broke the Guinness Record for “The World’s Largest Boxing Class”, with 14,299 people.
During 2021, just over a million pesos were allocated to two events: the Festival of Indigenous Cultures and the Day of the Dead Celebration.
These massive events are paid for with public resources from the Government of Mexico City, through the General Directorate of Large Festivals of the Ministry of Culture.
Sylvester Stallone, better known as “Rocky”showed his support for the Massive Class of Box which will take place on June 17 at 8 in the morning in Mexico City. However, in order to participate you must complete a registration. For this event the government expects the participation of 15 thousand people in order to keep the Guinness Record 2022.
Through social networks, “Rocky” wished all the participants luck.
Sylvester Stallone rose to fame with the role of Rocky Balboa, an unknown boxer who had the opportunity to fight the world champion Apollo Creed. “Rocky” is a 1976 American film that not only was starred but also written by Stallone.

2022 was the year in which the government of Mexico City opted for concerts and festivals in the Zócalo, by allocating more than 50 million pesos. One of the most expensive events was the concert of the Tigres del Norte, for which more than 23 million pesos were allocated.
