There is more and more talk about GTA Trilogy Remastered, the possible next installment of the franchise that will include the three great games of the same: GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas, all under one improved graphics and playability with respect to the original deliveries. Today, a new leak on Twitter seems to indicate that this remake could have been included as part of GTA V for Xbox Series X / S and PS5, but it might not be like that anymore.
As commented Kotaku a few days ago in his article, Rockstar Games would have thought of offering the GTA Trilogy Remastered as part of an incentive to purchase the version of GTA V for Xbox Series X / S and PS5. More specifically, the remastering would have been offered as a bonus when you pre-order the fifth installment of the franchise, but this would no longer be the case.
Petit correctif sur notre article d’hier soir, the Trilogie devait À LA BASE être offerte avec GTA V E&E. Hélas, selon Kotaku ce n’est plus à l’ordre du jour! https://t.co/dFZ5dQyrn0

The GTA Trilogy Remastered would have had plans to launch earlier this year, following the strategy described above. Apparently the remasters have suffered several changes in their plans due to the pandemic world, being this one of the reasons for the change of strategy of Rockstar Games and Take-Two. However, it seems that the games are now aiming for a release between October and November of this year, the three deliveries being launched simultaneously to a lot of platforms.
GTA Trilogy Remastered would be in development for a good number of different platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PC and Stadia. According to the Kotaku article, the titles could arrive next year to PC and mobile, because Rockstar Games is focusing all its attention on the console versions. However, there is still no official word from the company and although Kotaku has a good track record, it never hurts to be cautious.
