Ubisoft has decided to delay the launch of Rocksmith +, his new subscription service version of his long-running guitar learning saga. The game will be launched now in the year 2022, although on a date yet to be determined. Originally, the title was planned to release on PC during the summer, while the PlayStation and Xbox versions were to wait until the fall. After holding a closed beta in July and discontinuing news, the company has decided to listen to feedback from those who tested the beta so that «make sure we provide the best guitar learning experience«.

So will Rocksmith +
Announced at E3 past, Rocksmith + is a game that will allow you to learn to play acoustic guitar, electric guitar or bass through familiar songs. The game’s proven method of learning will include real-time assessment, learning tools designed to offer control, and a vast, ever-growing library of official recordings to meet a range of musical goals.
If no changes are made, Rocksmith + will be available for € 14.99 for a 1-month subscription, € 39.99 for a 3-month subscription, and € 99.99 for a 12-month subscription. The game will thus require a permanent internet connection and each subscription will only be valid on the platform on which it is initially registered. At the moment, there are no plans to offer cross-platform features.
The game will feature Rocksmith Workshop, which will allow players to transcribe their own arrangements for a list of songs licensed from music partners. What will not be possible is to add your own music, create new songs or transcribe songs that cannot be included in Rocksmith + because they do not have a license.
