Ravenscourt and DigixArt have confirmed that the critically acclaimed indie road trip game Road 96 has a release date scheduled for April 14th on PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
The original release of Road 96 It happened last year when it came to Nintendo Switch and Steam on PC, offering a politically themed road adventure that we could enjoy on our computer or on the go. Thanks to the success of the game and its good reception, we are close to seeing a version of Road 96 for Xbox One and PS4, which will also be available with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

This week took place the Pegases Awardsan event that honors French video game creators, and in this year’s edition Road 96 took home the following five awards: Best Indie Game, Beyond the Game, Best Accessibility, Best Sound Design, and Best Narrative Design.
Road 96 is a narrative adventure with political themes that are very relevant to today, for which the DigixArt team has well deserved recognition. “We are very proud to have won, we expected one, but five is incredible“, said Yoan Fanise, the creative director and CEO of DigixArt. “There is a huge audience waiting for innovative experiences today, the gaming world has changed drastically in recent years”.

In my review of Road 96 I said that it was a good narrative adventure that goes like a good series, since each trip can be taken as an episode and has a very interesting cast of characters. If you like narrative adventures then Road 96 might interest you, and it will soon be available on all platforms.
