The great March update of Lost Ark, which left us with new missions and many other novelties, anticipated that another of the surprises that would arrive this month would be PvP modewhich is the way in which players will face each other to determine who are the best in the world.
It will be tomorrow, March 24, when this type of combat will be enabled in which it will be possible to participate individually or in teams in order to gain prestige and rewards. In this sense, the victories and losses obtained will determine the average score in competitive games.
Based on playing, a rank and a series of prizes will be assigned that will be delivered at the end of the first season, which will last for six months, although at the moment it has not been detailed what exactly the rewards will be that the best in the world will receive. At least it has been indicated that most of them can be exchanged for coins based on playing.
In the main cities you will be able to talk to vendors offering weekly items, such as finishing materials or experience boosts, and others that will last throughout the season, such as cosmetic items, mounts, titles, and more. In fact, the further you progress through the tiers and classes, the more items you’ll be able to access at these stations.
As the average score of the games increases, so does the rank of each player, so will be divided as follows:
- Great master: Top 30 players in the region
- Teacher: Ranked 31st to 100th in the region
- Diamond: From 2000
- Platinum: 1800 – 1999
- Gold: 1600 – 1799
- Silver: 1400 – 1599
- Bronze: From 1399 downwards
However, Smilegate wanted to emphasize that points will start to be lost if you don’t play for two consecutive weeks. In addition, the region will be taken into account and a system based on the skill of each will be used to ensure that the encounters are sufficiently balanced.
