According to data provided by Lorenzo Córdova, counselor of the INE, during the quick count, which was carried out from data received from at least 753 voting booths, from the results of the mandate revocation consultation, it is estimated that between 90.3 and 91.3 percent of citizens who participated in the vote, indicated that they want President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to remain in office.
In the same way, it has been revealed that according to the statistical exercise, between 6.4 and 7.8 percent of Mexicans exercised their right to vote, asking that AMLO’s mandate be revoked due to loss of confidence, In addition, it has been announced that this record has 2.1 percent of invalid votes.
Regarding the participation of citizens in the referendum to revoke the mandate, which was registered last Sunday, Lorenzo Cordova He pointed out that a figure of between 17 and 18.2 percent of the population who went to the polls to cast their vote was registered.
