After a somewhat decaffeinated event, Capcom has surprised in the final stretch of the Capcom Showcase with the presence of much of the Resident Evil franchise. In addition to confirming the existence and release date of Shadow of Rose, a gameplay of Resident Evil 4 Remake has also been shared for the first time. However, this was not the only surprise they had prepared.
After confirming the existence of this story that will continue the events of Resident Evil Village and that will arrive via DLC, it has also been confirmed that Resident Evil Village’s long-awaited third-person mode will arrive alongside this storyallowing us to relive the story of Ethan Winters from a completely new perspective and similar to that seen in the classic titles of the franchise.

This third-person mode of Resident Evil Village will be one more of the content that will come to the game with its first DLC. But this is not the only thing will arrive in the game on October 28 of this yearas Capcom has announced more news for the game that hit the market last year.
It has also been announced new content for mercenary modewhere we can embody different characters from the title, such as Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg or Alcina Dimitrescu, in which each one will have a series of abilities that are completely exclusive to these characters.

All this will come to the title under the name of Winters’ Expansion, and as we have mentioned, it will be available on October 28 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
