From time to time Capcom updates the figures of its most successful video games to show how well each of them has done in stores. The latest data correspond to the units that have been purchased from March 31 to June 30 of this year, which amounts to the second quarter of 2021.
Only those titles that are part of the Platinum range appear on the list, which are those that have exceeded one million units sold. Thus we can see that Resident Evil 7 is unstoppable and is nowhere near 10 million copies, standing with a total of 9.8 million after adding 800,000 more units during these last months.
It also highlights Monster Hunter Rise, one of the last installments of the saga that was published last March on Nintendo Switch and that already going for 7.3 million. And we can’t overlook the launch of Resident Evil Village with its 4.5 million.
Of course, the one that remains at the top of the table is Monster Hunter World with its 17.3 million, but the best thing is that you take a look below at the top 10.
