This has caused many to post their excitement about the possibility of a next-gen port coming out soon. It could also mean that a version of xbox series x it’s on the horizon.
However, nothing has been officially confirmed, but the image on Twitter gives hope to many fans. Capcom has already talked about updates to Resident Evil, specifically games 2, 3 and 7. The information released by the company suggests that the updates will be free for those who have already purchased the mentioned games, either on PC or console.
The only drawback, though, is that users who want the current-gen versions on console will have to have a PS5 or Xbox Series X system that can read discs, which means players won’t be able to use the PS5 Digital Edition or the Xbox Series X. Xbox Series S to get the free upgrade.
Overall, the recent tweet is exciting speculation for any fan of the remake from Resident Evil 3. With Nemesis being one of the most powerful bosses in Resident Evil, the original 1999 installment left a certain mark on the early days of the franchise. Additionally, it was the last installment in the series to feature the fixed camera perspective that characterized the games until the fourth installment, which came out a few years later.
