Yesterday Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment (formerly Focus Home Interactive) confirmed the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiemthe sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Game Pass on October 18, 2022.
This week Asobo Studio shared a new trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem that gives us an extended look at the game’s gameplay. In this trailer we follow Amicia and Hugo as they pass through a quarry, showcasing stealth and action segments that show off some of the siblings’ new abilities.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an exclusive game for the new generation of consoles, but it will come to Nintendo Switch with a version in the cloud, so you will need a permanent internet connection to play it on the hybrid console. However, A Plague Tale: Requiem will also come to Xbox Game Pass with Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox One consoles.
The new trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem shows us how good the graphics look despite their realistic style, as well as the facial and movement animations that make this experience more immersive compared to the prequel. Additionally, Asobo Studio confirmed that the PC version will feature ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS.
A Plague Tale: Requiem releases on October 18, so we have a few months to play the first installment in preparation for the sequel. Remember that A Plague Tale: Innocence is available on Xbox Game Pass, so if you’re subscribed, take the opportunity to play it on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S or PC.
