Capcom is one of the companies that has been in the best shape for a long time and also one of the ones that has the most titles in development. Resident Evil, its star saga, will have more content very shortly; The Resident Evil Village DLC, Shadows of Rose, will arrive in October this year and, in March 2023, one of its most requested titles will do so: Resident Evil 4 Remake. But that’s not all, because Street Fighter 6 is also on the way and other games such as the unknown Pragmata, about which we know little to date, may make an appearance at Gamescom 2022.
Remember Me is not yet backwards compatible with Xbox Series X | S, but Capcom renews it
But Capcom’s movements are not only taking place in the development of games, but also in the renewal of its IP. The last to join was remember me, a cult game that arrived in 2013 developed by Dontnod Entertaintment and was renewed a couple of years ago. As we can see in the portal TrademarkCapcom has renewed Remember Me for permanent use, having done so as of February 19, 2020.
This is unlikely to mean a Remember Me 2 in development, though there is some hope after seeing these commercial moves. Especially if we take into account that Remember Me is one of the titles that, for the moment, are left out of the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility catalog.
Games with Gold won’t include any more Xbox 360 games starting in October
“Remember Me is a 3rd person action-adventure game where you play as Nilin, a former elite memory hunter capable of infiltrating people’s minds and stealing or modifying their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and abilities, arrested Nilin and erased her memory.
After escaping from prison, Nilin embarks on a quest to regain her identity. However, this search for her past leads her to be persecuted by those who created this surveillance society », we can read in xbox store.
