Agroclimatic risk forecast
Based on the analysis of the CFSv2-NOAA/SENAMHI climate model, for the quarter from April to June 2023, above normal daytime thermal conditions are expected on the coastal coastline and south-eastern highlands. In addition, higher-than-normal nighttime thermal conditions would be expected on the north coast, central coast, in the north-western sierra, central-western sierra, and northern jungle. Cumulative amounts are expected to be higher than expected for the central coast, and in the northern and central-western highlands; in the rest of the country rains would be registered within the normal range. Moderate to heavy rain events are not ruled out on the north coast, especially in April.
